That's one of the good elements of macro, especially on a "bigger" rot. Not just Earth being wiped out. All the planets in all the galaxies in all the universes in all the [your cosmic headcanon] until nothing bigger. Except still bigger. All. Dead. :3

I personally think there is a difference but it's really hard to explain.
