"The Diary of Anne Frank" is very special to me. I remember reading it over and over growing up in Appalachia. A big scene in my novel "My Time With The Awk" takes place at the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam.

I could easily see why my book might get banned, but not "The Diary of Anne Frank."
