True, however I realized that the broker is often dealing with the fleet manager, and starting from a lower baseline and working up. A typical lot salesperson is starting at MSRP and working down, making you work for every $100 off. Maybe not always true, but that was my experience.

I've used brokers for my last 3 cars. Not only did I get a better deal than I would have if I'd gone into the dealer and haggled for *hours*, in all three cases I told them what I wanted and the dealer delivered it it to my house. Never going into a dealer again, ever.

No one in San Diego still supports them. They're like a bad ex, we simply don't think of them, ever.
