What has *really* kept me going is the folks in this photo. On the Saturday after #WWDC25 we got brunch together and made an agreement: to help the WWDC buzz last and help us reach goals, we each set out a "moon shot" idea, and will return there after WWDC26 to see if we made it.

We’ve just been told that Apple is planning to greatly expand the Apple Developer Forums by adding Discussions – a new way for them to reach out to developers through live streams and Q&A. Coming soon! 🎉

I consistently get locked out of my own Netflix account, because apparently I’m not part of my own household. I’ve removed al the devices from the account and changed the password, and it still insists I don’t belong in my own account. It’s infuriatingly stupid.

Here’s how a reply sounds in Twitter. Reads the person’s name, who are they are replying to, then their message, then “2 days ago”, then the stats that have values. But it also says “actions available” at the end, so users know they can swipe through like, repost, etc. Night and day difference.

Here’s how your reply sounds to a blind user. It reads your avatar, then open your profile, your name, your account handle, says 8m means 8 meters, then your message, then all the 0 replies etc – it’s almost entirely a wall of gibberish.

🎂 10 years ago today I registered the Hacking with Swift domain. That’s 10 years of tutorials, 10 years of Swift updates, and 10 years of sharing my knowledge and excitement for app building. It’s been a wild ride, and I appreciate everyone who supported me along the way! 🙌
