Prices have outpaced wages for YEARS! I don’t want to hear anyone talk about higher = higher prices. Eventually that argument will disappear.

Maybe…just maybe things would be more affordable if federal min wage was higher. Maybe…just maybe we should start taxing corporate stock buy-backs at 90% and lower FICA on employers who pay their employees more than poverty wages. Incentives for paying people more would boost the economy.

It’s open enrollment again and I’m looking at ANOTHER increase in cost-20% over last year. Having to sit down and do the math of taking less coverage and see if paying out of pocket for meds is worth it. I wonder if socialist medicine countries can wrap their heads around that.
