Great shot, Ian. So evocative. Open to many interpretations. Imagination. Strong Edward Hopper vibes.

Do the Quyon ferry next. Haha

Great shot, Ian. Been quite a natural sepia season.

They tried to make an album as if Hackett was there, had all the pieces, except Hackett. Falls flat as a whole , feels unfinished — I think Phil has said the same. I go, Gabriel, Hackett, Genesis. PG would have, as an artist, an extraordinary ten year run - beyond his normal amazing.

Thx. Ian. Totally agree, I took the bus to guiding gigs out west multiple times from 15 -- that was sketchy, haha. Mom was born and bred on an Orangeman Anglo-PQ western dairy farm. After RL was elected, 'Deep Que' was a suspect. In her defence, she did not have a prejudiced bone. Different times.

Wonderful, Ian. Way back when, early 80’s, I would have to stop, call home and check in with my parents at these stops when I’d go to Quebec city or Dal to see friends as I was driving a family Vehicle. It was the treacherous leg Mom would always remind me. haha. Is this Saint-Liboire?

Thunderfingers, who?

A great man. He was a fine spokesman for what, in hindsight, was the obvious outcome of media consolidation and the new media landscape it birthed. Condolences to Judith and his family.

I love this album. I know SH gets flak for so many albums of questionable consistency, but this was/is a solid release. If at all possible, I want to be half as prolific at 75.

One of my favorites of all time. It holds up, as does EITQM. They were an amazing band. I first saw them, in front of a very small crowd in an auditorium as this album was just breaking! Life highlight, in hindsight.

The Musical Box was in town last week doing the SEBTP 50th and just as spectacular as usual. It was their 38th show at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto -- 2nd only to their home theatre in Montreal. They always bring the magic to life, and I fall in love again with Genesis. Great band(s).

My kid-hood. The tone brings forth so many memories! Great shot, Ian.

Spot on. Our 4 kids were raised in wild places — on adventures, through toil instilling an innate calibration for genuine moments - to live that. Now, as adults, they have a grounded, BS-resistant energy striving to live actualized lives in every sense of the word.

We love your writing, Sarah.

And Cons are already in-fighting about not having our Ontario premier Doug Ford as the next leader. Votes are not counted.

100% from a Canadian. A minority though, Ed, with the BQ as the party holding up the Libs will be played as a huge wedge. Not a good scenario in any way. Let’s hope for a majority to keep this clean.

Yeah. Sadly, true. Globe and Star have had a bit. I think this is the Trump effect, mostly as it seems to be worldwide. I follow the Aussie via the Guardian, mostly. Which I know of a top ten read in Canada due to our insipid 85% owned hedge fund papers:post and Sun media.

And, my hockey team is about to be bounced (humiliated), 1st round, from the playoffs. Feel your pain.

Good choice. Election Day here in Canada. I did a good run to the Lamb & Live today-don’t often run to the boys, but needed zen. 26km. Cleared my head.
