Additionally if you think Korra will give bad advice, understand that Avatar wisdom is a load of crock. Aang couldn't decide if he should kill the fire lord, and Roku said "You must be decisive" like thanks man. Yangchen asked dozens of Avatars how to handle the Shangs and none of them were helpful.

It's a "mistake" that would still cost any average person their job. But not him, of course.

The only "cataclysmic event" that could happen in my mind is Sozin's Comet breaking up in the atmosphere and raining destruction on the earth. And I want that to happen because that's awesome. Korra absolutely deserves a break, but since when is Avatarhood fair?

If they do the whole "false avatar" thing again, I'd at least appreciate some variety to how it plays out. And that the personality of this new Avatar is vastly different from Kyoshi's. Or any other we've seen for that matter. As for the seven havens thing, I'll have to see more to gather thoughts.
