27 years into the relationship and Diane (My Wife) has started making me do park runs. 5K this morning. She's either trying to get me fitter so I'll be around longer or knowing my recent experiences performing outdoor exertions maybe trying shorten it.

Managed to fracture a rib and partially collapse a lung playing touch rugby. Nobody tackled me or anything, I just slipped and somehow landed on my chest.

Last night my kids were away, one was at cubs, and the other a week long school trip. We went out for dinner just the two of us, It was great just being there the two of us without screaming kids. I'm sure we'll miss them when they eventually leave but it was a reminder of the before times.

Every now and again I get addicted to something usually an online game. I will play it obsessively then one day without warning a switch in my brain will flip and all desire to play it just vanishes. Today that happened with Marvel Snap which I had been devoting a ton of spare time this last year.
