Training while it's raining. So much fun. The trails are little creeks and the mud and puddles are perfect for stomping. Daisy is not such a huge fan of the rain but she doesn't contain her excitement to just be running.

In the past, the California International Marathon #CIM has been my victory parade fun run to celebrate a productive year of training and racing (we don’t get a lot of crowds at ultras), this year it’ll have to be an advance on 2025.

My fashion stylist majoring daughter settled a decades long disagreement in our house-multicolored or white lights on the Christmas tree. The simplest answer: both.
