Another very early ep had a reporter's voice on TV saying "We reached out to [some public utility company for a comment]", a phrase that definitely wasn't around then.
Not as good as your example but it annoyed me so much at the time that I made a vow to give up watching it at the end of Season 5.

Reminds me that it was of the tunes played by hospital staff to try to rouse Victor Lewis-Smith from his fictional coma. (The BBC Big Band in reality. They played the themes to The Baron, The Saint, The Money Programme, Danger Man and Nationwide in other episodes.)

Martha Sleeper's terrific in it, but was she really only 14 or 15 at the time? I guess she'd been doing comedy for a while by then.
Here they are 5 years later. Who knew that Finlayson had legs like mine?

Along the same lines as those letters, there's a pre-recorded plea to write to him about petitioning for a new family-friendly channel inserted into that live recording towards the end. A bit odd, but you have to admire his conviction.

Looking at those cards has reminded me of the letter to a newspaper years ago that said if you invert the fingers-crossed logo it looks like Michael Heseltine.

Wow! Just been down to Newport, Pembrokeshire and was surprised how much snow there still was on the Preseli Hills. A lot of meltwater coming down into the town.
