I've really been enjoying Arc Raiders. I think this might be my first "extraction shooter" and so far, I'm enjoying how it's not 100 people trying to kill me immediately ... often times it's a couple "Don't Shoot" strangers helping each other out.

The Series X going from $499.99 to $649.99 is wild stuff. Contrasting late-in-their-generation price moves, adjusted for inflation, the Wii Mini cost less than the Series X has increased in price.

I was curious about “have you seen the price of RAM” and looked up my last RAM purchase. In June 2024 (~1.5 years ago) I paid $104.99 for 32GB of DDR5. Today, it’s $379.99. Yikes. And I bought two of these things for a total of 64GB.

Solid remake of a classic in the MGS series. The game definitely suffers from some frame pacing issues on PC (even on a 5090/7800X3D). The full control of the camera made some parts of the game too easy compared to its original fixed camera setup on PS2 (and the HD remasters). Worth a play for fans.
