A friend was just Googling for Conservatives' achievements and… this checks out

Thanks, @SkyNews, for uncritically accepting the government's absolutely nonsensical framing of this story in this news alert! Next, "All 40 new hospitals WILL be built, but 30 of them will use existing buildings, equipment and staff"

I think my favourite chant directed at L F*x and his fash pals in Honor Oak this morning (or, I suppose, directed at the police between them and us) is "Check their hard drives! Check their hard drives!"

This email from @southbankcentre came an hour ago. Nothing has appeared on their Stories, Insta posts, Threads or Twitter. What is going on to cause a closure of the whole building on the day itself?! (School-style danger of collapse?!)

I just happened to pause iPlayer at this moment the other day when I was connecting it up to the TV at work for something later, and, well, it seemed right to grab a screenshot for @daytimesnaps

Musk is going to limit me to reading 600 tweets a day? I am going to have to supplement my intake elsewhere

On the one hand, @VodafoneUK seems to have done a good job of providing mobile coverage at @glastonbury this year; on the other hand, they've managed to make the app even worse than when EE ran it 🤦🏻‍♂️

I recently built this wedding cake for my friends, using 50 @cooplandsbakers Toffee Danish pastries 😋

In fact, why not, here's my somewhat arbitrary top 10 🤷🏻‍♂️ #Eurovision2023

Good to see BBC London News tonight presented by someone in the official Republic protest colour #IsThisRight

If there are any drones, I look forward to seeing the police deal with them as competently as they dealt with that Gatwick one that time

My favourite Labour quote from today's election coverage – because you just don't expect it to go where it goes

Meanwhile @wiilassie reported from Charing Cross, where the station M&S had a few more character eggs plus some big deluxe carrots, while the Co-Op could solely muster blood orange Lindor(?!), £7.15 down from £11… And that probably concludes this year's #EggWatch!
November 28, 2024 at 12:44 PM
Tesco Express Tottenham Court Road also had a surprising little stash in its back corner – very Lindor-heavy! You can't buy the final giant Cadbury's egg pictured here, because I did. #EggWatch
November 28, 2024 at 12:44 PM
Sainsbury's Local on Berners Street surprised me with this little stash hanging out with the toilet paper! Haven't seen those Crunchie ones anywhere else. All half price #EggWatch
November 28, 2024 at 12:44 PM
The M&S on Oxford Street near Poland Street had the biggest quantity of Easter eggs I've seen anywhere in this year's #EggWatch. Quality, on the other hand… well, if you like their characters, you're in luck
November 28, 2024 at 12:44 PM
And that was it for this area of the City – nothing in M&S or Hotel Chocolat by Moorgate, and nothing in this magic Tesco shop I just found on Chiswell Street (like the magic Aldi in Greenwich but with a checkout option). Disappointing #EggWatch haul so far this year!
November 28, 2024 at 12:44 PM
Waitrose near the Barbican has the most #EggWatch stuff I've seen this lunchtime, which is not saying much. If you want a white Lindor egg, an After Eight egg or an oat-milk egg, this is the place to go. Also many Creme Eggs, for 25% more than elsewhere though
November 28, 2024 at 12:43 PM
Tesco Express on City Road has a few £1 boxes of lesser Cadbury's eggs (no Creme here) #EggWatch
November 28, 2024 at 12:43 PM
But basically if you're after medium Cadbury's eggs in Lewisham any time in the next day or two, head to the big Tesco on Conington Road, where they have so many Wispa and Creme Egg ones that there are still some shrink-wrapped in trays of nine! Half price (£1.50) #EggWatch
