I see from the news this morning that men (most likely) have killed more people. I'm still astonished that men, a full half of the population that has been in power over the entire planet this entire time, have allowed this to go on so long.

Midco is so predatory. They sent me a bill for their modem I shipped back to them months ago. Also, instead of mailing me a pro-rated bill for my cancelation of services they posted a statement to their website. So now I'm paying for their modem I already returned to them and a late fee.

Instead of everyone being armed to teeth to defend themselves, how about men just, like, stop attacking everyone? Just a thought.

Watched another Poirot. It featured Emily Blunt! Her American accent has definitely improved over the last 11 years.

Is it me or are Republicans either very rich or very poor? It's almost like the rich ones prey on the poor ones, who don't have the education needed to see what is happening.

How ominous. I'm reading a book with a character named Dick Cheney (seemingly unrelated to the former VP), and then the real Dick Cheney passes away? Oh no.

Here I am, watching a Poirot from 2006 and who do I see? Michael Fassbender! It's always cool to see big actors in little parts earlier in their careers.

My minimum requirements for a significant other are apparently fantastical. Good thing I've gotten pretty comfortable with being alone.

Currently watching: First Wives' Club with my mom in honor of Diane Keaton.

I found a friendly stray cat who looked so much like one of my cats that I let him follow me home. I was surprised to see all my cats were accounted for, and then fed the stray as compensation for the inconvenience. I WISH I HAD SPACE FOR ALL THE CATS.

My brother's passing has made me wonder if casual portrayals of death in entertainment are contributing to the public's apathy towards mass-casualty events.

1.5 miles in 16:37. I've had a crampy calf and a death in the family so training has been slow the last week.

I took yesterday off for rest, and today my calf cramped on the first step. The betrayal!! So it's right calf recovery day.

Memory is a weird thing. While listening to Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl, I started reminiscing about that one time a girl dressed as a black cat at a costume party kissed me and left a black smudge on my face from her nose.

Watched the first episode of Murder She Wrote last night. That Jessica Fletcher has GAME! Could've landed that millionaire without breaking a sweat.

1.8 miles today, 17:19. I ran through town today, which was different. *gasp* people probably saw me! It was also flatter.

Day 17: 17:20 run. Pull up training is slooooow. BUT I'M GONNA DO IT.
September 11, 2025 at 1:32 PM
Also, I'll be canceling my wifi soon. Wish me luck with physical media.

What am I on, day 16? I took two days off for stuff and then did a half run. Yesterday day was 17:29, and today I forgot to stop my timer! Felt fast though.

Day 11! I worked hard to take advantage of the downhill and shave a bunch of time off. 17min 41 sec. Still no pull up.

Stargate SG1 has full frontal nudity in part 2 of the pilot? CRAZY. And completely unnecessary.

There's ten seasons of Stargate SG1, it can't be that bad, right? Imma try it out.

Day 9 I rested, Day 10: 18min 52 sec, but NO BREAK. Still no pull up, but feeling a bit stronger. Finally over the bout of fatigue I got from my sister/her kids. I started a daily scoop of creatine, should see that pay off in a month or two.

Day 8: 1.6 miles, one 20-pace rest, 18min 5 sec. In the middle of a thunderstorm! ADVENTURE
September 2, 2025 at 10:59 PM
Today's (Day Seven) run: 1.6 miles, one 20-pace break, 18 min 29 sec. Still no pull up. Yes, I'm jogging slower than speed walking, but my knees are hurting less and they haven't swelled up yet, so it's going well!
