More day five.
Many, many mussels growing on a seashore rock. A man walks down a path. There is grass and bluebells to the left. Young tall deciduous trees to the right. The sun is shining. I’m standing on a hill of solid rock. Looking a the sunset. A sea bay and beach are in the left middle ground. The coastal hills of the Iveragh Peninsula in Co. Kerry, Ireland are in the middle ground. The sea and a nearby hill are in the foreground. The sun has just set and the sky is a lovely orange. It gets paler towards the sky.

Day five. And yes the water was VERY REFRESHING!
An Ogham stone. A tall slender pillar stone, standing upright. An old style Mini Cooper. It’s black with a white roof. It has a roof rack. A bluebell flower. The colour of the downturned flower is really purple. I’m swimming in the sea, in a naturally sheltered harbour.

Day four of our week in Kerry. This county really is The Kingdom.

The holiday in Kerry is going well. The weather has been wonderful, for early April.
A view of the bay in Caherdaniel. You can see the Ship house. Amazing dwelling. You’d never get planning for this now. Small coral from one of Ireland two coral beaches. This one is near Sneem, Co. Kerry. A sheepdog called Milo is standing by my seaweed bath barrel. He’s mostly black, with brown and white detail around the face. The view in the background is of the sea and mountains. A World War Two sign spelling out ÉIRE on a costal headline. It’s made up of stone painted with white wash. It was used to tell pilots for both the allied and axis forces that they were flying over neutral Ireland.

These row of trees near the Barge pub are very susceptible to storm damage. Large branches broken off by each of the last three big winds. I was full sure it would be carnage there today. But nope, all still standing intact 🙂
