As an autistic person, I'd actually quite prefer it if people didn't hear words that I'm not saying. The examples in this article are a perfect example of this “You look tired.” (Translation: “You look bad.”) NO. You look tired means "YOU LOOK TIRED".

Flayed skin, two brains, a liver, intestines, and eyeballs all spilling out from a blue plastic shopping basket. With appropriate plastic sheeting in the background.
