I kept just missing Lizards, finally caught it this summer in Chicago. Wife didn't wanna do N3, drover her back to MI, quick nap, back to Chicago. Felt earned lol. Also got Horn which I'd been chasing (and mikes>horn no less!). Never miss a Sunday indeed. Good luck!

I did go on said walk yesterday and it was fantastic, but before i left I read a YouTube comment that said the jam sounds like the bluegrass gin'n juice misattributed to phish via Napster so I spent most of it cracking up ans singing the lyrics of that along with it. It was a great time.

I was intent on not putting in a request. It's a bad move right now financially. Then yesterday got stoned and went for a walk w 12/29/03, started having intrusive thoughts of fuck it why not I'll figure it out if I'm so lucky. Got home and saw the request window already ended. I was so relieved.

Last word - those chain mail scrubs are really helpful when you get stuff stuck though. Sometimes if I'm really lazy I just heat it up and put in little water and de glaze the shit off it

The idea that they require Uber special care remains a barrier for a lot of people and I swear to you on everything holy they really don't they just can't sit down and they need a little oil down. I think it could survive the dishwasher fine but you'd make more work reseasoning

Just adding to the ... I scrub it with soap like any other dish, as long as it gets towel-dried after and wipe down with a tiny bit of oil. i've never had a single issue and it remains perfectly nonstick and well seasoned. I pretty much only use cast-iron pans. My only rule is never leave it damp

Oh I'd pay to see that! @raypadgett.bsky.social had some good intel on his substack, interviewed someone involved (can't recall who it was off the top of my head). Highly recommend that (and everything else on there) if you dont sub already.
