One of my iPhone featured photos today. You really never know when something will become an archive photo when taking it.

Planet Hollywood in Disney Village, Paris. July 11th 2022.

Such an amazing time with Coffy tonight at the BFI. One that’s been on my watchlist for a very long time.

I watched Marielle Heller’s ‘Nightbitch’ last night and was left a bit disappointed. A nice premise and thematic anchor but was delivered in a bit of a lifeless way. It got a few good laughs out of my screen though so I can’t be too hard on it. There’s a good film in there somewhere. 2.5/5.

The biggest of many heartfelt moments came at very end of the Richard Sherman tribute concert, when his son came out to thank everyone. He mentioned in Richard’s final year, he wrote an additional verse to “it’s a small world”. I just noticed those lyrics are written on the back of the program. 😭

Christmas at Disneyland does just hit different. I can’t believe I haven’t seen it since 2021.

Just watched Sergei Parajanov’s ‘The Color of Pomegranates’ and it was kind of a crazy ethereal experience. It reminded me a lot of Alejandro Jodorowsky’s ‘The Holy Mountain’ but with somehow less of a clear narrative structure. Didn’t fully land for me but glad I saw it none the less.
