Stupid. Stupid that my local ER who is in network could have a doc that is out of network. Stupid that I'm avoiding care to avoid costs. And stupid that capitalism brought us to this point. Medicare for all is not enough. Just healthcare as a right. 🤘 /End

Last time I had a similar injury, I went to the local ER and got 3 bills: one for my in patient hospital system, one for in patient labs, and one for OUT PATIENT MD/DO care. Total out of pocket was over $1k for the third. /2
