*technically* it’s your responsibility to yield to them if turning across a bike lane (in most places!). If there’s no bike lane, yeah, the cyclist should yield to you.

West Main? I would like to stop getting doored there. Maybe being on the other side of parked cars would help.

Downtown -> UVA is reliable enough in the mornings that that I can walk to Water St and catch a bus with essentially no planning; really awesome! Rest of town is another story unfortunately, but getting better.

Do see people living in there every now and then (usually ground floor rooms). Recently some RV folks have been trying to block one entrance to vehicles to improve their privacy. Really cool spot if not for the interstate just below.
