If I am informed about things then I will not be able to speak about those things in an uninformed manner so I must continue to be uninformed in order to keep Canadians informed about the things no one is telling me. This is just Conservative common sense.

There is a group that has done the hard work for how to vote, especially in Conservative ridings or where Conservatives could win in a vote split.
They are called smartvoting.ca and seem pragmatic rather than partisan. They recommend the best choice to defeat Cons. in each riding

It's not going well; she refuses to let the staff help her with things she actually needs help with, like bathing. I wish she could still be on her own just as much as she does! Every day is emotionally exhausting, and the poor woman feels like she's in hell. (she thinks she works there, for free) 🧵

Watching my parent slowly disintegrate as Alzheimer's progresses, and by God, it's heartrending. There's very little of her real personality left now, just anxiety and weird Alzheimer's behaviour, and I just feel numb. Moved her to memory care. She's still trying to be "independent"... 🧵

No wonder the world seems so fast these days.
The cognitive load of every system, app, website, saas we use changing minor things every few weeks adds up. And yes it matters.
I was seriously relieved when I started listening to your podcast and realized my increasing levels of frustration with modern tech are not because I'm getting older (I'm only 40 for gods's sake!) but because everything is actively getting worse. 🫠
