This September, our partners at NTNU hosted a deep-sea technology training school for scientists, technicians and students from @maremadeira.bsky.social and GEOMAR. It got rave reviews from attendees and hit all project KPIs for moose and aurora borealis sightings, too 🦌

Do you know how Earth's billion cubic kilometers of water came to be? Do you know what fish was responsible for the creation of the EEZs? Do you think you can out-swim a sea snail?

Ciência Viva no Verão returns(!) and we hosted a smorgasbord of deep-sea activities and games for visiting families. We also had a live-stream of an ROV dive off the coast of Madeira, giving participants the chance to see a wreck and some underwater life in real time!
