I don't remember what was going through my head when I drew this originally, but I do remember being proud of it back in 2018 when I first drew it! I have an absurd amount of old art in a mass archive file on my computer, so it was fun to scroll through it all again! Obviously there are is the most obvious difference between this version and its original, that being the color pallet. I feel like maybe it was a bit of a cheat just fully changing the color scheme, but this was just for fun and I make the rules here PFF All in all I'm very happy with how this piece turned out (namely the hand, that original hand was god awful), and it was a fun little exercise for my art muscles!

I drew myself in an outfit I do have in my closet, though ofc I took some artistic liberty with the tshirt PFFF It's actually an embroidered tshirt with a bunch of flowers, but tbh I didn't feel like going all in on the details.

I know it's not a super obvious detail, I wanted it to be more of a light theme rather than a hard set rule, but Twiggy is actually based off of a highland cow! (Very loosely I will say) I may go into her lore later down the road, but she's a forest creature that loves human fashion and expression!

This beautiful man is my darling oc Astrophis (Astro for short), and he's actually a part of a much larger project of mine! He's loosely based off of the zodiac Taurus, the first in line to the throne of Merope. I haven't been working on it much these days, but it's a passion project of the zodiacs turned into countries with a diverse line of species.
