The spending is out of control. There needs to be a priority of what government should spend, like infrastructure should be high. Defense is way too high. China is eating our lunch. Revenue also needs to go up, not down. There must be a popular message the Dems can latch onto from this.

So Musk is upset that spending is going to increase under Trump. Maybe Musk has hitched his cart to the wrong horse. It seems Republicans increase spending more than Democrats. To add insult, they lower revenue making larger deficits.

Anyone who contorts themselves into believing this is complicit in the fall of the USA. There are three branches with checks and balances for a reason. Accept this then we're in a constitutional crisis, no longer a republic, we are a dictatorship. Once there, there is no turning back.

Why do people have an issue with raising taxes on those that earn $400,000 or more? There is way more people who are below $400,000 than above but we keep electing those that only serve the 1%. Oh to go back to the tax tables before Reagan screwed it up.

Biden took office in January 2021, the data says the opposite. Now if Trump wouldn't have convinced OPEC to cut production in 2020 to help his buddies in the oil industry. Of course prices dropped during the Covid shutdown (during Trump), supply and demand, no demand.
