I do think there should have been penalties prior to the 2nd & 5th goals. Even if you swallow the whistle for “playoff hockey” reasons, stick infractions should be called imo. But oh well. This MN team wasn’t going anywhere. Now we get to have grievances instead of getting plastered by WMU. (2/2)

Gopher fan’s biased opinion: nothing at all wrong with the goalie thing. Teams shouldn’t get timeouts to fix a strap or whatever. I don’t think the intent was to game a timeout, just a weird equipment thing, but it doesn’t matter. (1/2)
