Arrogance: "Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant". A proud enemy becomes careless and underestimates your strength, making them vulnerable to a surprise attack.

great history to the design of the original ARM instr. set - how opcodes were mapped to the hardware to minimise transistor switching to minimise heat generation as they could only afford plastic packaging for chips. that work also made it super efficient on power & ideal for future mobile devices.
