If she was just someone’s crazy aunt (instead of a public figure/politician) this set of views is honestly something you could work with and improve. You find the ins at the areas of agreement and help them rearrange the puzzle pieces

I’m seeing this more in YA than Adult, so could reflect that YA is switching to pushing paperbacks heavier, but is really frustrating as someone who buys new books when they release. If you’re gonna do this, then just do a paperback first model! 3/3

This would be fine if the hardcover came out before the sprayed edges trend, but it’s happening with hardcovers out in the last year and paperbacks out next year 2/3

Adult has influencer campaigns, 20k arc distribution, paid marketing, and more. YA books are just like “Epic Reads will post about it once or twice” or “included in relevant social media posts from publisher” 2/3
