I am so pissed at my Rep @whipkclark.bsky.social for her vote today.

I've been assuming my MAGA brother- and sister-in-law wont mind if I tell their MAGA 21yo daughter to 🤫 🐷 whenever she talks.

Did they acknowledge that in fact your baby was covered during the hospital stay? When my eldest was born we got an astronomical bill because she "wasn't on our plan at the time of delivery of services". Umm.

I feel sorry for those who didnt vote for this. MAGA, Republican, third party and "I just can't vote for any of them" voters, fuck y'all. You got the day you asked for on Election Day 2024.

But wait, it COULD be as high as 81% for some. Holy fucknuts indeed.

I'm obviously not a fan of the 🍊 💩 stain in what's left of the White House, but I can find no evidence this is real.

(3) Look for your local food bank or little free pantry and donate money or food.

We ALL want to help our neighbors. But kids deserve not to have it pointed out to them on the once-a-year sugar frenzy. When you think about it, candy is DEFINITELY not on their family's grocery list. (4/4)

(2) If you want to share your absolutely well-meaning generosity of spirit and treasure, have a separate bin where the parents/chaperones are waiting and fill THAT with helpful items (not ramen- anyone who NEEDS food is already eating plenty of that). (3/4)

(1) ALL KIDS deserve the traditional Trick-or-Treat experience. It is not my job to gatekeep the Reeses anymore than it is to gatekeep the cake mix in the grocery store for SNAP recipients, or make sure poor kids only get a cheese sandwich instead of a hot school lunch. (2/4)
