When do teams normally book? Right when schedule comes out or do they do it as the season goes along? I’m wondering how Knicks got in before Houston. Did they book early since they knew they’d have 4 days off on the west coast?

How does that happen exactly? Do teams book hotels once schedule is released? Did rockets just book too late? I realize it’s Sac so less hotel rooms and everyone probably staying at the Sawyer but still seems like there should be an accommodation for the rockets here
