cannot stress enough how spooky it is to read the only story from hanamonogatari currently translated into english. because it's not like "oh it's different but I can kinda see the roots of shoujo and yuri here..."

you were curious about asia; I don't know much about fonts but the romaji in japan's equivalent (industrial standard JIS Z 8903–8906, the first of which came out in 1969) sure looks reminiscent. it doesn't have the distinctive Q or 3 though
