Stress Cues and Feeding
Another fantastic talk from Amanda Lawes on recognising stress cues and sensory aspects of feeding in preterm infants. 👶
A brilliant reminder of how babies communicate through behaviour and how we can support calmer, more responsive feeding. 💛

Dr Aneurin Young opened the day with a brilliant talk - getting nutrition right for very preterm infants. Key messages included putting mother’s breastmilk at the centre of care, careful assessment for babies who are failing to thrive & making use of local and national guidance to support practice.
