Newsom has stated the CA gerrymander will now go forward. If it doesn't get stopped by courts, then Dems get an advantage. Of course Repubs will not stand by for that. If their court loss holds, and the suit against California fails who knows what will happen?

Forget moral high ground. Anything that breaks up their solidarity and sows disunity, chaos, and disruption in the Trumpist cohort is good. If it helps make them lose, it's better to make her feel supported as Trump works to put her in fear of losing her career.
