I suspect that under Dutch law, this would not hold. I would not be surprised if the union or individual workers challenge this. Also unclear if this is not against Equality act: some are disproportionally affected (e.g., close to retirement age, ill health). Yes: UK HE is 🔥- many other places too.

@thomscottphillips.bsky.social - They are rebranding our pay as a "total reward package" which consists of pay + pension. If you choose to stay in TPS scheme pay will be frozen until it equals the total reward package under USS pension + pay. The union is examining legality of this,... .
