Background: 60 USAID employees had been placed on leave for “undermining” Trump’s executive orders. Nick Gottlieb was told by DOGE to then fire them. Instead he emailed all of them earlier saying he found no evidence of misconduct and used his power to take them off leave. Then he was put on leave.

…and new ones arise. Let’s figure out how to break the cycle, maybe? …and break our collective addiction to charismatic male leaders who can’t let go of power afterward while we’re at it (not aimed at Butch, btw).
