Glad to see you're sticking with it--with every crazy twist the game throws at you, a few people leave because of it without giving the new version of the game a chance :( People tend to dislike Act 2 because they were having too much fun with Act 1 and thought nothing could top it I think

Inscryption, Portal 2, and Stanley Parable all in one post means we definitely have similar tastes in games LOL

And The Hex! The Hex's story is the best one out of his 3 in my opinion.

FNAF I agree with to some extent, because you don't get much story from the game, and instead it's all in the Matpat videos and stuff. But Inscryption actually tells a story (a good one) *in the game*, and sure there's lore/an ARG but it's not the main focus of the story

She said she has no plans to do a sequel any time soon, though I brought up the idea of a spinoff that tells a different story in the same world and she seemed at least a bit more open to that. In any case, she is still writing other (unrelated) books at least!

It's merch for Mullins's video game Inscryption. Not a full TCG, just some collectible cards made to look like TCG cards. Inscryption is fantastic, though; I'd highly recommend it.

Semi-related fun fact: I've been to Sleepy Hollow (of Legend fame) before and they have headless horseman stuff everywhere. Even their school buses have the headless horseman on them. It's kinda funny.

Inscryption? No, not really. I mean, it's meta, sure, but I wouldn't say it has much of a focus on the "difference between the player and the protagonist" thing, any more than any other 4th-wall-breaking game. (It's a fantastic game though!)
