Agree. In a truly democratic system the ceiling would already be shattered. Systemic reforms desperately needed. But how? They’re locking in totalitarianism.

Once the courts fall it’s we the people, alone, who are left to defend democracy by taking to the streets overwhelmingly and, ironically, as W.F. Buckley famously once said, raise our hands and scream “STOP!”
