Also, I started playing Squeakross since I finally finished all 600+ puzzles in Stitch (Apple Arcade). It has been casual game this year, I have done over 200+ daily puzzles. I still do the daily puzzles and did the first reset. Squeakross is really hitting that Picross void I had this year. (4/4)

On the PS4 I did beat Second Son (plat) and First Light but didn't go back to inFAMOUS 2. I think I was holding out for a remaster collection but that doesn't seem like it is happening anytime soon. I'm really enjoying 2 a lot, it would be great if Sony would bring back this series. (3/4)

I also was looking at other games in PS+ because I might let it expire and decided to play inFAMOUS 2 (PS3 streaming to PS5). I beat the first one back in 2013 but didn't get around to the sequel (I was trying to platinum it and got so frustrated with it during the 2nd playthrough). (2/4)

I'll keep my Xbox Series X for those rare cases when I want to play a Xbox 360 BC game but I don't know how MS gets me to buy another Xbox. I was thinking if it was a Xbox/PC hybrid maybe but now I'll be getting Valve's Steam Machine.

I'm still trying to figure that out myself. It looks great, the story they added works but I wasn't a fan of having multiple enemies in combat. It kind of takes away what makes DQ I so unique. Some of the added bosses were harder than the final boss, so that fight was anticlimactic.

I was hoping to get around to XBCX this year but I'm holding out for a Switch 2 patch.

OT 2 - One of my favorite JRPGs, so much improvements over OT.

Live A Live - Very fun game, doesn't take long to beat.

Dragon Quest 1/2/3 - Don't you mean 3/1/2 😈

I've been eyeing Wandering Sword a lot this past year. Hopefully next year I'll pick it up.

I own Dark Deity and the sequel reminded me I should play it. I also have 3-4 Fire Emblem games I need to play too.

I finished the first Suikoden. I need to go back to 2.

I remember picking up Yooka-Laylee around launch and was very disappointed with it. After a year or two I went back to it because they patched it. I ended up 100% it. I guess I just need to wait another year or two before playing Re-Playlee.

It's on my steam wishlist. I took a Picross break this year. Might be a nice game to play during the Winter months.

Other games I played during the month were Pac-Man 256, Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, Gunbird, Keeper, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Candy Creeps, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Costume Quest 2, Wii Sports and Paper Mario: Color Splash.

I played Toem in 2022 and with the sequel coming out next year, I wanted to revisit it. I had a great time playing Toem again.

With the new Katamari Damacy game, I decided I should play the remakes I have in my backlog first. I did the main story for Reroll.

a few years ago, so I shouldn't have been surprised that I would sink so much time into Ball x Pit. I beat all the stages with all the characters. I'm currently playing the NG+ at a slower rate.

After that I didn't know what to play until DQ I+II HD-2D comes out, so I played some shorter games.

Ball x Pit - I remember seeing this at a Direct or some other online presentation. It looked interesting but I didn't expect to get so hooked on it. I like brick bricking games like Arkanoid and Breakout. I even had the NES Arkanoid controller as a kid. I also got hooked on Vampire Survivors

DQ III is my favorite Dragon Warrior game on the NES and replayed it several times back then. When the GBC version game out, I played it again. In 2022, I played it on the Switch. The Switch releases of I-III were disappointing because of the art. I'm glad they got the HD-2D treatment.

Earlier this year I finally finished one of my gaming goals to beat all the mainline Dragon Quest games. I started it in 2022 and beat DQ XI S as my first game this year. I picked up III HD-2D last year but kept putting it off. With DQ I+II HD=2D coming out, I decided it was time.

My parents had a DVD when I was in high school so it was nice finally having one in college. When I was in college I was so much into anime and I thought it was great that a DVD could have 4-5 episodes on it vs the 2 on VHS (dark times back then🤣).

BALL x PIT - Still playing, working on New Game+. I'm almost done with the 3rd area in NG+.

This week I'm looking forward to DQ I + II and Luigi's Mansion (GC NSO). (5/5)
