In the 1970s, I fought hard for women's rights. Reproductive rights, but not the ERA. Then I watched the ascendency of the Christian Right, Pro-Life, and now MAGA. It wasn't MY generation that became complacent; it was the failure of subsequent generations to see beyond reality TV & tele-evangelism.
