I think I’m more relieved I don’t have to juggle doing grocery deliveries for Instacart for pennies between interviews, even if it was a little fun riding my bike around JC/Manhattan.

I think there’s a trend starting with some AI crawlers spoofing the agent and referral source to avoid detection when aggressively scraping sites now.

The feed is the most annoying thing on LinkedIn as a job seeker. Oh that post with a job that fits what you’re looking for? It’s old and they’re already done taking applications. How about a million posts for people you’re not interested in following or connected to.

We should have an event or maybe two for October. The goal is to have at least a coffee and code the 3rd Thursday of every month, with exceptions around maybe the holidays (depending on how everyone is feeling). Also trying to think of how we can include virtual attendees so it can atleast be hybrid

Only anecdotal evidence to back up your statement but back in the day, I had to liquidate one of these collections as part of an estate when I ran a gun store. Only 5/112 guns the guy owned were actually fired over the course of 32 years.
