the boy right in front of him, mad at colonel foxx for doing that to him. yet he doesn't do what would be typical of an angry person; he doesn't say a word and holds ash in his arms, comforts him. because that's all he can do and its what ash needs most right now, not bloodshed or outrage

something atrocious was done to him and has this complex look on his face.. eiji looked so angry there and i feel like the kneejerk reaction a lot of people have to this scene is being upset at eiji for not being mad or whatever but i do think he's mad here. he looks mad at the world for failing-
