It spreads in multiple ways. Airborne, skin contact, and food are the most common.

The bacterium spreads by body fluids. Saliva, milk, & blood.

TB usually sets up the first colonies where it enters the body. Lungs, skin or GI tract, and then spreads. Bovine TB goes for the spine and Human TB the lungs.
