Trump adds his birthday to fee-free national parks days, but you have to prove you are a citizen or resident to enter the park for free. So much to unpack there and none of it normal or healthy.

This is fundamentally broken People who think it’s okay to spend $170 million on unauthorized jet purchases yet åre unwilling to release emergency funds for SNAP to support 20 million households — 42 million people, kids, the disabled, and elderly — who otherwise won’t be able to afford to eat.

The government’s emergency was “simply untethered to the facts” wrote District Court Judge Immergut in Oregon in her order stopping deployment of national guard to Portland.

Trump is “simply untethered from the facts.” Perhaps we should be using this as an incantation whenever Trump et al speak.

Trump announced an extraordinary deal for the U.S. government to take a 15% share of Nvidia’s H20 chip sales in China to ease restrictions.

Confused by this because I thought we were restricting tech sales to China for National Security. If they pay us a newly formed sales tax those vanish?

Paramount just paid Trump a $16 million bride so they can get federal approval for a multimillion dollar sale. This was not a winnable lawsuit for Trump, so I don’t know how else to parse this.

Can we trust CBS News to report on Trump now that they’ve shown their colors?

The Republicans who control the federal government acted with a reckless disregard for the well being of Americans, especially the poorest. They casually dismissed millions of Americans in favor of tax cuts for their rich patrons and for trillions in addition debt this nation can’t support.

Article I, Section 8, [The Congress shall have Power . . . ] To declare War ...

Trump does has no the authority to declare war on Iran, either formally or by authorizing military to act in ways tantamount to the same. Why are Republicans so willing to give away their Constitutional authority?

Impossible to look at Trump’s parade and not see Soviet-era military parades in Red Square, or compare troops in LA with Tiananmen Square and Kent State.

The problem with peaceful protests in US is law enforcement very rarely allows them to remain peaceful because they assault protestors with tear gas and “non-lethal” weapons, rough up citizens when they feel like it.

Trump is escalating to claim more power. US troops do not belong in our cities.

SensTodd Young and Ted Cruz propose rebranding Pride Months as “Life” month to “recognize the dignity of human life.”

Republicans might talk about the dignity of human life, but when they show their work, it’s all the opposite. Cuts to Medicaid and SNAP do not promote human dignity, for example.

This is insane. Wetlands provide essential services and need to be protected. If taxpayers are subsidizing farmers,it is not unreasonable to get something in return. Crop insurance subsidies alone are almost $12 billion, with the average subsidy being 60% of cost.

Trump is an economic illiterate. We are all screwed because Trump cares only about his perceived power.

All he’s doing is causing the U.S. to bleed out. Losing on all fronts, internally and globally. Our allies will just work around him. Even his billionaire donors will lose.

What a fuck-up.

Trump is trying to divert attention away from his misdeeds by with a third term. He pulls this out every time momentum is gaining in opposition to his activities. The national security breach by ALL of his top defense and security people is certainly one of those moments.
