I don’t disagree with you, because I’m from NC and I’ve seen firsthand how people I care about were twisted and became someone totally different over MAGA. But we’ve also seen what came out of being patient with them and hoping they’d come around. They voted for him again. Now we are where we are.

Seriously. Remember the last days of the Biden administration where we all thought “oh yeah. They’ve got all the tools necessary to do something about this crap,” and then all they did was pat themselves on the back for how peacefully they transferred power? Gee whiz, what wonderful decorum though!

Exactly. At what point are we allowed to be less than nice to them? It seems like years of treating them with the respect we hope they’ll one day give back has just made them worse. Almost like we’re coddling and rewarding nazis because maybe if they get everything they want, they’ll be sooo nice

The entire administration has proven itself to be weak and he’s personally show himself to be even more incompetent than previously thought. Their base is dwindling and the only trick they have left is to play to the trolls who only care about owning the libs. Hopefully this the MAGA death rattle.

We also can’t expect children to do well if they’re deported/kidnapped by ICE. I’m glad you want to support school lunches. I agree with you here, but this seems like throwing a bottle of water at a forest fire here.

I agree. A sudden change in leadership didn’t help in the election and doing so abruptly might give MAGA more room to move forward farther in the chaos. Taking time to transition leadership while still having an experienced leader at the helm would be best. Otherwise dems could lose more footing.

It does kinda feel like everyone with actual power to fight back is giving up without a fight and joining him and then pointing to the rest of us with our low paying hourly jobs, zero connections, and lack of funds saying “hey! Go protest and stop this or it’s your own fault!”

At this point, if they are “released” I wouldn’t trust it. They’ve had plenty of time to invent whatever they want. It’s probably going to be some easily disproven fantasy about every democrat or person who’s disagreed with Trump being a pedo but it’ll be enough to convince his base and ruin them.
