I’m doing the same for my father. A lawyer I spoke to yesterday said to be sure that filing this claim does not mean you cannot join another class action. I don’t know the answer, but we have until March to figure it out.

Absolutely. It's a failing of my own that I am still surprised when things like this happen. Philly is way too small a town to get away with doing stuff like his without your diners or admirers noticing and reacting. I like a couple of their restaurants very much, but this puts me off.

You'd think that living in or modifying a house designed by the first woman in Philadelphia to hold an architecture license might appeal to this Philly couple. Also, there are plenty of parcels of land out there. Why not build somewhere else? I will never understand this kind of destruction.
