Look I'm not using the internet for anything. I'm using both the web api and the r1 in lm studio, doing the same searches and getting different results.
Both are "DeepSeek". One is the "app" one is not.

People that are using the web api or the app from any app store have found that, as have I. People using the open source model through LM Studio are having a vastly different experience.

Should look like this. You can see the LLM being used in the bar at the top. I can't guarantee you're going to get true and correct information, but this model is going to not be unresponsive.
