Honestly? A terrible movie can be enjoyed as its own thing. I think there is no shame in that.

On further reflection- I take a moment riding the bike to work to enjoy the scenery, just before I turn into the parking lot. So I spent a good 30 seconds of my life, every workday, staring at four brothers knobs.

Instead, they focused on the B-story of the whole arc of the comic's arc, which was intended as misdirection in the original. It was nicely done, but... yeah, Constantine looks much more like a bastard in the original. :)

Had they stuck to the original storyline - Constantine would've been selling his soul off to various demons for small piddling things until finally Lucifer had to keep him from dying of lung cancer to keep hell from going to war over his soul.

I had my objections to it - mostly that Constantine is depicted as something other than a completely-amoral self-serving bastard the way they altered the storyline.
