That's most of the book for me. I figure out the core beats and then let the story tell itself. Makes writing the initial draft a lot of fun.

All of which illustrates how infuriating it is when dipshits say that AI can 'help me to brainstorm ideas'. It can't do that. It can plaster a deepfake smile onto the corpse of zombie capitalism as it shambles towards the precipice of climate catastrophe, but it can't create meaningful literature.

The ending mostly. I do exploratory writing, so while I have a general idea of where it's going I don't know the details of the end until I get there and see how everything comes together.
