This is like the block chain hype from a few years ago where everything got rebranded to blockchain related, and then went away. Everything is Ai, even when it just a normal algorithm, because it makes some C suite feel like there employees are doing something when the employees rename it Ai.

It is different. They still get a trial. I'm proposing an offer of if they accept a Judge only trail with the condition if found guilty the sentence cannot exceed 3 years. The Crown wants to use this for things that have an expected sentence less the 3 years. A plea is accepting guilt and sentence

Would it be allowable by Magna Carta if it was a choice by the defendant and a Max sentence of 3 years was part of the deal.

I assume Halifax's issue is that the public housing that exist is all very old and run down? I think NS announced the first new public housing build in 30 years in 2023.

all GOP women know who the core GOP men are better than fringe GOP men know the core GOP men. Aka the women are not surprised but the men are oblivious.

You have more faith in people's ability to change their perceptions than I do. We will have to agree to disagree.

I mean, if you want to call the local PCs, similar to Cons, sure, whatever, but admitting that the PC brand is perceived as being more moderate and then giving it willingly to the Cons is a choice that only helps the federal Cons appear less extreme.
November 6, 2025 at 2:34 PM
Please don't call the federal Cons the PCs. You wouldn't still call them the Reform or CA. It's been 20 years the PC brand is much more moderate than the Cons currently are.

He has represented that area Federally or Provincially since 2003. He was PC here and it is fair say the liberals are currently closer to the NS PCs than the Cons are.

"Research by SAP in July found that nearly 70 percent of chief financial officers believed their employees were using AI to attempt to falsify travel expenses or receipts, with about 10 percent adding they are certain it has happened in their company."

The story should be how out of touch CFOs are.

It's tiny and in the Burbs but maybe Lake Forest College would let you screen in their tiny theatre (plus it might piss off some of the residents of the town, which is a plus)

Didn't the CIRB make the back-to-work unenforceable by not recommending any penalties for the strike continuing? Seems pretty pro-union if what I read elsewhere was accurate.
August 18, 2025 at 8:03 PM
What gets the union to back down? A promise to pass the NDP bill to pay for hours on the ground for all FAs?

Nova Scotia really needs some rain, though. We've been kinda hoping to get rain from this system.

That seems to be contradicted by other reports showing a surge in trips to non-USA destinations that the CBC was reporting last week.

The CND to USD is also level year over year. .73 CDN per 1 USD on Aug 13 2024, .73 Cdn to USD on Aug 13 2025.

I took it as someone from Mexico who wants to bring authentic Texmex and is trying to use what they assume is our main reference point for Texmex food as an example.

TexMex is authentic affordable mexican food. That said El Este Taqueria exist and is wonderful.
