Some strangers on B&W film. Love capturing ordinary people in their natural moments. I don’t like when people pose for the camera because it feels like they’re wearing a mask and not showing real emotion, prefer capturing genuine, unposed moments that reveal true emotions. #photojournalism

Shot some expired slide film, expiry date was 2003. There were lots of sign of degradation, chemical bleeding on the film but results are not too bad at all. Like the vintage look

I think 35mm film got expensive for consumers in the 60s. Lots of camera brands made half frame cameras that you could double the exposures you get with regular 35mm cameras. But this Konica Autorex is different. You can switch between half and full frame on the same roll. Loving it.#filmphotography

Another expired film experiment. This time Kodak Vision 2 50D expired in the late 90s. It is a cinema film, a friend bulk loaded it into 35mm film canisters for us. I shot it at 12 iso with my Nikon FM2n w/50mm F1.2

I found some Soviet era B&W film at the antique market. This Svema film expired almost 3 decades ago. They probably hand-bulk loaded film into canisters, no dx code or marking. Shot, developed and scanned them hopping to se Gorbachev smiling in one of the pics but no, jus deteriorated chemicals on it

Size matters here! Two of my vintage film cameras. They both work. The big one is 4x5 Large format. If you scan the film properly, you would get a 350 million pixel picture. The small one use special cut film. You would get 2mp picture if you scan the film properly

Someone was throwing away a vintage film camera from the 1960s, Yashica Lynx 14e, super fast built in lens, f1.4. I grabbed it and fixed the rangefinder scale. Shot a test roll around the city. This is handheld slow shutter speed in the night. The film is Kodak Tri-x 400.Developed and scanned at home

Got some medium format film from a friend. It says develop before June 1986 on the box. It is a little bit late but I shot it anyway, at 100 iso. It is Tri-x 320. Overexposed almost 2 stop to compensate the sensitivity lost over the years. Developed and scanned the film, loved the grainy results.

I shot the interview with Michael J. Fox last week in New York. I was in High School in Turkey when his movie Back to the Future came out. Loved the movie so much. It was a privilege to meet him in person. Still very charismatic, still very cool guy
