really love the way Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein and the song ‘Golden Brown’ by The Stranglers have become super intertwined. they just go well together (maybe not thematically, i don’t know) but vibe is perfect

I want to get my mother in law to go thrifting at one of those big suburban value villages because at least if she tries to convince my partner to buy clothing their is a higher chance of it being good for its price unlike winners where i caught her trying to get my partner to buy 3 more coats!

sometimes i feel like i need to remind some people that i interact with that i was raised by slightly insane people with trauma and thats why im so intense sometimes (i got a bit too loud about how much i love libraries at work after the customers left becaus neither of my colleagues use the library

my cursed brain won’t let me stop thinking about guillermo del toro’s frankenstein. thankfully i have it under control. but im about the height of victor and my partner the creation so we have a halloween costume next year maybe.

brought home a dvd boxset of twin peaks that I’m borrowing from work and was going to take it back because I was like ‘we probably both have already seen this and is it worth rewatching?’ and then my partner told me he never has seen twin peaks so I guess we will keep the boxset for now

crazy last 24 hours in genshin. got my cyno c5 from that constellation event. got amos bow from a single pull on the standard banner and then got c8 jean on the limited on a single pull with those free monthly pulls and then my next single pull after jean was nefer!

oh my god this calendar is waaay cooler than I expected. all the numbers are iridescent and some of the pages have art I’ve never seen before (that’s saying something) this january page is amazing

Del Toro’s Frankenstein was so breathtaking like I am slightly obsessed with it. I am delighted to see there will probably be a psychical release. I just want to watch a bunch of behind the scenes stuff about the sets and puppets and concepts and all that. bro the puppets! the wolves were puppets

I’m glad I made my D&D character have an absolutely shot brain because of too much esoteric knowledge and too many interactions with cursed objects because last night I was like ‘hmm I cannot remember where I’m from’ and ‘what was it I was supposed to know?’. I genuinely forgot stuff but it worked.
