It's giving "power fantasy of a 14 year old" energy

Google really "innovated" itself into a corner there. And I feel like everyone with half a brain can see it's losing money for advertisers. Specifically the advertiser who already sold you the product.

The AI authorship issue is real. We've caught papers that looked OK but had references to works by the *journal editors* that *do not exist*. Like, don't send us papers citing papers we know we didn't write, right?

I muted this thread. Thanks for replying all except for the person I blocked for being completely rude and not even witty about it. Whoever that was.

All I'm saying is update your fantasy. Because your particular power fantasy isn't going to play out how you think. Not in this country and not with this president.

Cool. Some of our police forces weed out all the officers who would stop for you. They'd run you over.

I'm not sure why I didn't get notified your reply, the only one I agree with so far. But also, I'm in no condition to do much of anything. So, carry on.

I saw this article from 2025: it was a word of caution. If you choose to stick your head in the sand that's up to you.

Would tanks stop you? Like even the police have tanks sometimes. And you know all the savings from curbing people's medical care etc is going to the army and suppressing the people w militarized police.

That won't be true for long. Trump and other rich people will make sure the voting only happens when they approve it.

I don't really think of Pratt as having the grit, nuance, or mind for effective politics, his job is to get people's mind off of the bad things in life, not dive into the middle of it. So, it just seems like the worst idea.

I still can't get on the bandwagon that actors should also be political activists. Half of them try, but they don't devote the time to the issue, so it goes badly & apologize. All he was saying is: "everyone is happy removing artificial food coloring" & tries not to have an opinion beyond that. 1/

A lot of leftists now think that democrats are basically the same party. So, maybe not individuals, but their bosses would be in on it.

So, perhaps it's not just "when it comes to the right", but when it comes to *anyone* in power.

It's much easier to drink calories than eat them. So, I would consider adding peanut butter or sunflower or hemp seeds to a smoothie. Otherwise meal replacements might help. Some brands sell them based on their calories.

I've never had a lower appetite problem on the usual meds. But if you're eating less, you're also getting lower amounts of micronutrients. Some of which promote appetite. Potassium & zinc come to mind. I use cronometer to track all micronutrients. Then you can add calorie filler to a smoothie.

Those are just things off of the top of my head. They can't cure depression, but it's a lot harder to recover without them. Beat wishes!
